A manga artist from Hokkaido, born in the Shōwa era. When the reading glasses came out, it felt like time to finally take on the long-form epic worth attempting at least once before it’s too late. Being a classic, old-school fantasy (or perhaps because about 70% of the cast are bearded middle-aged men), it didn’t seem like a fit for Japan’s commercial manga market—so it’s being serialized online and shared for free.
